No Electricity & Network from last 3 days, 25″ Rainfall, 42 Poles and 60 Trees Down: Mount Abu

Mount Abu | Although it was pre informed that biparjoy cyclone can cause heavy rainfall and storm at various parts of rajasthan also in sirohi, mount abu etc. The administration was found slow and short with resource to combat the upcoming cyclone. There was non stop rainfall in Mount Abu from 16th June to 18th June 2023.

As per reports approx 60 trees at road side and many other in deep various parts of hill station were uprooted, 42 electric poles were fallen down, 25 inches of heavy rainfall and 50 Kmph wind speed lead hill station in dark for 3 to 4 days with no network connectivity.

Many a times big trees were fallen down on the main road of mount abu also few trees damaged the side walls of main route that pushed the halt on traffic for few hours.

Where people expected that administration would react strong and spontaneous they were found slow and short of resources, just one or two JCB were in use that led halt in clearing the roads from fallen trees, just one machine wood cutter was not enough to break tree in parts, people were seen using axe to break the tree and make way.

On 20th May people came out of their house watching the shinning Sun to overcome the damage down coz of cyclone and come back in routine, all the waterfalls of mount abu we flowing in full swing and even Nakki Lake started overflowing in just 3 days.
