On the 69th Independence Day of India, Radio Madhuban 90.4 FM, a community radio station in Abu, Rajasthan enthusiastically involved members of the local society and celebrated the day with great zeal and pride.
To unite the community under the umbrella of the colors of freedom, harmony and cultural belongingness, a special on-air show “Atulya Bharat” was produced by the team at Radio Madhuban to share 69 unique facts about India, its culture and immense contribution to the world. The listeners really liked this show and called in to share their feelings of patriotic love and pride for their motherland. Many schools, government offices, colleges and institutions in Abu celebrated Independence Day and our team covered these moments of joy live from 23 places in the community to enable all listeners to enjoy a feeling of brotherhood.
To mark the occasion, Radio Madhuban 90.4 FM also broadcast another extraordinary on-air show titled “Safar Apne Shaher Ka”, telling the story about the history and evolution of Abu and surrounding onlineaccutane villages. Production of both these shows entailed extensive research and highly involving community interactions as well as meetings with several stake holders from the Abu community who provided useful insights to our team.
